At age 57, after having three distinct and fulfilling secular careers, I have been called to faithfully walk with Christ, not just work for the Lord, but to work alongside him. I was eager to join a men’s Christian organization i.e. (New Wilderness) that shares the same biblical conviction and in service of The Lord, that I hold myself. "You shall know them by their fruits."

The Holy Spirit has opened my heart in a capacity to assist and guide men through the wilderness of life. Jesus grants blessings and gifts that are bestowed on me, in which I want to offer and share with other men, in their own walk with Jesus Christ.

I absolutely love the outdoors. I consider myself a wilderness hound. Of a father of two and my wife of 25 years, we all share in Gods divine glory of his beautiful creation. My outdoor passion began in North Carolina ( where I grew up) and then in New England for awhile, then establishing roots in Colorado, where I’ve currently resided for 25 years. Every beautiful season here allows for different outdoor activities and adventures. Aside from outdoor play, my grandfather was an avid sportsman and passed his knowledge and love for fishing and hunting onto me.

Steve’s Spiritual Strengths penned by a sister in Christ:

“Steve’s faith in God is very strong. The Lord figures into a lot of Steve’s way of thinking. As for a specific spiritual strength, without a doubt it’s Christian charity. Just this past week I had to do a big project in my home. I have some personal challenges and because of the pandemic I am still somewhat constrained. Steve offered to drive an hour to my house, don a mask, and spend as many days as necessary helping me with this big, dirty job. I did not ask Steve for help, and this is not the first time he’s offered to help me with something inconvenient that would take time and energy. It is obvious to me that his offers to help are born of a deep sense of caring for and about people. In my opinion, Steve lives his faith.”
