I love the great outdoors and feel most alive when I’m surrounded by God’s creation—whether that’s in the woods before sunrise, on the water with a fishing line in hand, or gathered around a campfire at the end of the day. Being outside has a way of quieting the noise and reminding me who God is and who I am in light of Him. I feel a clear calling to disciple men, using the outdoors as a place where walls come down, conversations go deeper, and faith becomes real and practical.
I’ve been married for 40 years, have three wonderful kids, 10 beautiful grandkids, and one great-grandson. I’ve spent most of my life serving in ministry, constantly seeking God’s calling, continually shaped and redeemed by God’s grace. In addition to outdoors men’s ministry, I serve as an elder in my home church. I love to hunt and fish, and I’m passionate about helping men become who God created them to be—men who walk humbly with God, live with integrity, and step courageously into their God-given purpose both in the wild and in everyday life.
